Full Gas Insulated Ring Main Unit
The gas insulated switchgear is widely used in 10kV/6kV distribution systems, which is the choice of switch products for various users in urban and rural power distribution systems.
The switchgear is modular unit mode, which can be combined according to different purposes; There are two main categories: fixed unit combinations and expandable units, which meet the flexible use needs of various substations for compact switchgear.
Gas insulated switchgear is a completely sealed system, with its charged components and switches enclosed within a stainless steel body. The whole switch device is not affected by external environmental conditions, ensuring operational reliability and personal safety, and realizing maintenance free. By selecting expandable busbars, any combination can be realized to achieve full modularity. The expansion of busbar safety insulation and shielding ensures reliability and safety. The gas insulated switchgear can also provide TV based automation solutions, forming the concept of intelligent switches and minimizing on-site installation and debugging workload. The gas insulated switchgear is divided into non expandable standard configuration and expandable standard configuration. Due to its combination of full and half modules and self-extensibility, it has extremely special flexibility.
Gas insulated switchgear shall comply with GB standards. The design lifespan for operation under indoor conditions (20 ºC) exceeds 30 years.

1. Technical Description
The Gas insulated switchgear is mounted on a galvanized sheet frame, with the switch unit inside an SF6 gas box made of corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic 3mm thick stainless steel plate. SF6 gas tank is a "sealed pressure system" that can operate for 30 years under normal working conditions. The pressure of SF6 gas during normal operation is 0.15-0.4 bar. The gas box is equipped with a pressure release device to ensure that gas can be released from the bottom or rear when the pressure is too high.
2. Switching unit
The load switch adopts a coaxial rotating double break method, which cooperates with the sliding plate through the same operating hole for kinetic operation. Therefore, the switch can only be in one of the three states of "closing, opening, and grounding" at any time, completely avoiding misoperation.
3. Operating mechanism
The operating mechanism of the switch is installed in the front of the gas box, which is treated by special process to prevent rust and corrosion. It is convenient for manual operation and maintenance, and easy to achieve electric operation.
